What is the primary function of the device?

The device is mainly designed for anti-aging, skin lifting, firming, and enhancing skin elasticity through red light, infrared light, and EMS microcurrent technology.

What Changes When You Increase the Intensity Level?

The higher the intensity level, the stronger the microcurrent sensation and warmth. For first-time users or those who have not yet adapted, please start with level 1.

Can I use a different gel instead of the official provided gel?

We do not recommend this. The official gel is specifically forrmulated for the JMOON NouvelleSkin facial toning device. Using other gels may iirritate your skin. While similar gel products can be used, we cannot guarantee their safety or be liable for any resulting issues.

Is there a beep after the treatment is over?

At the end of a treatment session, the device will emit a long vibration and four beeps, indicating the session is complete. All mode lights will flash, signaling that the device is in standby mode. To switch to a different mode, press the power/mode switch button. A short beep will confirm the mode change.

How much gel per application?

When using the device, to cover the area of effect, approximately the amount of gel equivalent to the size of a thumbnail is required for each use. Meanwhile, you can appropriately increase or decrease the amount of gel based on actual conditions and your skin type. If you encounter resistance when sliding during use, or notice any signs of the gel drying out, you may increase the amount of gel properly to ensure smooth sliding throughout the process.

How to choose a mode?

After long pressing the power button to turn on the device, press the power button again to select the mode. Otherwise, the device will enter standby mode and automatically turn off after 3 minutes.

What is the maximum heating temperature of the machine?

How long does it typically take to fully charge the device?

It is recommended to charge the device for 3-5 hours for the first use. For subsequent charging, it is best to unplug the charger after fully charging for 3 hours.

How can I check the remaining battery level of the device?

In the device's power-off state, press the shift button, and the light bar will indicate the remaining battery level. Each bar represents 20% of battery life. Battery level cannot be checked when the device is powered on, so it is recommended to check before use. When the level indicator flashes, it means the battery is below 20%. If the battery drops below 10%, the device will automatically shut down.

Device Pre-use Guide: Cleansing & Skin Test

Before using the device, cleanse your face thoroughly and avoid wearing makeup.

When using the JMOON NouvelleSkin facial toning device and its gel for the first time, a skin adaptation test is required. Follow these steps:

Clean the Area: Wash the inside of your arm with soap or a facial cleanser, then dry it thoroughly with a towel.
Apply the Gel: Dispense a small amount of the gel onto the inside of your arm.
Use the Device: Set the device to LIFT mode at level 1 and gently glide it over the area for 3 minutes.

Monitor Reactions: If no skin issues (such as persistent redness, burning, or overheating) occur within 24 hours, you can use the product normally. However, if you notice rashes, redness, itching, or other unusual reactions before, during, or within 24 hours after the test, discontinue use immediately.

Is it recommended to use the device while wearing jewelry (earrings)?

It is recommended to remove jewelry before using the device.

Who should avoid using the device?

Not recommended. EMS (microcurrent) may interfere with pacemaker function.

Can I use the device after rhinoplasty (nose augmentation)?

After rhinoplasty (nose augmentation), a waiting period of at least 6 months is required to ensure the skin has fully recovered before using the beauty device. When using the device, avoid the nose area. You may also consult your cosmetic specialist to confirm that your skin is ready for treatment.

Will I feel pain while using the device?

The device is designed for a comfortable experience. However, if you feel pain or discomfort, try lowering the intensity or stopping use.

Will I feel an electric current during use?

In EMS (microcurrent) mode (LIFT, SL, EYE modes), you may feel a mild tingling or pulsing sensation, which is normal. It is recommended to start with the lowest energy level, as skin sensitivity varies from person to person, and a gradual adjustment period is needed to build tolerance.

Will the device feel hot during use?

Our product is equipped with a temperature control system, which limits the maximum heating temperature to 43°C. If you feel excessive warmth during use, we recommend starting with the lowest energy level to gradually build tolerance.

Will my face twitch during use?

Slight muscle contractions or twitching are expected as the microcurrent stimulates muscles.

Will the electrode plates become hot?

The electrode plate may heat up slightly due to prolonged use. If it becomes too hot, stop use and allow it to cool down.

Will the device body heat up during use?

Extended use may cause the device body to warm up. If it gets too hot, pause use and let it cool. Additionally, check if the ambient temperature is too high or if the device has been used continuously for an extended period. For optimal performance, we recommend turning off the device for 2-3 minutes after 20 minutes of use to allow it to cool down.

Why does the device make a buzzing or sizzling sound ("zzzt" sound)?

Sound Instructions During Device Use

LIFT, EYE, and SL modes: You may hear a faint electrical current sound during use. If the sound is too loud, please check if the device is in full contact with the skin.
STAMP mode: You should not hear any electrical current sound during use, as this mode does not activate the EMS function.

Will I develop dark spots after using the device?

Our product utilizes red light, infrared light, and mild microcurrent technology, which do not cause hyperpigmentation (dark spots).

Do I need to apply sunscreen when going out after use?

If you have used the device, please apply sunscreen before going outside to protect your skin and prevent pigmentation.

Is it normal to feel tooth sensitivity or pain after use?

If you have metal dental implants, avoid using the device.
Those with sensitive dental nerves or using the device near the mouth (especially the lower jaw) may feel tingling or aching.
For discomfort: Place a tissue in your mouth as a barrier, or lower the intensity.

Will my skin become red after use?

Mild redness is normal and should fade within a few minutes to hours. If redness persists or worsens, reduce intensity and allow more recovery time.

Will I get acne after using the device?

The device itself does not cause acne, but improper cleansing, using it on unclean skin, or clogged pores may trigger breakouts. Always cleanse your skin before use and moisturize afterward.

Does the device cause fat loss (lipolysis) after use?

It primarily works on skin tightening and firming, not fat dissolution.

Can the device be used on the neck?

We do not recommend using the device on the neck, as it is specifically designed for facial anti-aging and lifting. Additionally, the skin on the neck is more delicate, making it more prone to irritation.

Can the device be used on the eyelids?

No, it is not recommended. The eyelid skin is too thin and sensitive, and direct use may cause irritation or discomfort. If targeting the eye area, use it on the under-eye area or around the orbital bone, but avoid direct contact with the eyelids.

Can the product be used in the bathroom?

No, the product is not waterproof and should not be used in the bathroom.

Can the device be taken on a plane?

Yes, the device can be carried on a plane.

How should I clean the device after use?

Cleaning & Storage Instructions

Before cleaning, the device must be turned off and fully cooled down.
Wipe the light window and surface with alcohol-free wet wipes or a soft cloth.
Avoid using steel wool or corrosive cleaning agents.
Do not place the device or its accessories in the dishwasher, nor expose them to running water.
Store in a dry, cool place.

What if gel gets stuck in the charging port after use?

If gel enters the charging port, gently wipe it with a dry cloth or cotton swab. Avoid using water directly in the charging area.

How to care for the device?

Keep the device dry; do not immerse it or its components in water (to avoid electric shock). Do not wipe electrode heads with alcohol-based wet wipes—use a dry tissue to clean gel residue after use.
After each use, store the device and accessories in the original box (clean first; storage temp: 5–35°C). Do not store in humid areas (may harm performance).
For long-term non-use: Store in a dry, cool, shaded place; avoid contact with hard objects (prevent damage).
