1. Scope of Limited Warranty
Thank you for your interest in the products and services provided by Jmoon (“Jmoon”, “our”, “we” or “us”). The limited warranty applies to physical goods, and only physical goods, purchased from this Jmoon’s official website for your own domestic use and not for resal(“Products”). Products purchased from other channels (such as dealers or distributors) are not covered by this Limited Warranty Policy. If you purchased products from another channel, please contact them to inquire about after-sales matters.
1.1 Jmoon warrants, subject to the conditions and restrictions outlined in this Warranty Policy, the Jmoon-branded Products that you purchase will be free from defects in both materials and workmanship under normal use in accordance with Jmoon’s published product materials during the Warranty Period (as defined hereunder). Such published product materials include, without limitation to, user manuals, safety guidelines, specifications and service communications, as well as other use instructions as provided to you and updated from time to time.
2. Warranty Period
2.1 The Warranty Period will be two years from the initial retail purchase date when the product was purchased by a consumer for the first time. Where you purchase a Product from an authorised e-commerce platform, such initial retail purchase date shall be the date of delivery.
3. Warranty Service
3.1 If a Product does not function as warranted during the Warranty Period, Jmoon will, at its option, provide one of the following warranty services to you (“Warranty Service”). In the case of a defect, to the extent permitted by law, one of these are your exclusive remedies:
A. Repair the defective Jmoon Product at no cost, utilizing new or functionality equivalent to new replacement parts; or
B. Replace the defective Jmoon device with a new or refurbished Jmoon Product.
3.2 Repaired or replaced Product will be warranted only for the unexpired portion of the original Warranty Period. That is to say, Products repaired or replaced under this warranty policy are not entitled to a new 2-year warranty period.
3.3 If a repair or replacement is not possible, any claim for loss or damages claimed to arise from the Product defect will be subject to the terms set out in Section 7 and/or 8 of this Warranty Policy.
3.4 When warranty service involves the replacement of a Product or part, the replaced Product or part becomes Jmoon’s property immediately upon replacement. The replacement product or part will become your property.
4. How to Claim Warranty
4.1 To request warranty service, please contact Jmoon Customer Service Team at support.us@jmoon.com during the warranty period. Please ensure that your request contains the below information:
A. Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, order number, or a photo of your order confirmation);
B. A detailed description of the issue;
C. Photos or videos (if applicable);
D. Your contact details; and
E. Other information which may help us to process your request;
4.2 If your claim is approved, Jmoon will send you a confirmation email with the next steps.
4.3 Jmoon will provide a pre-paid shipping label for you to return the product (If applicable). Please include all items from the original packaging in the return shipment.
4.4 Voidance of Warranty: Jmoon reserves the right to void this limited warranty, to the extent permitted by law, if
A. you are in breach of this Limited Warrant Policy or any other agreement with Jmoon;
B. the Product has not been returned to Jmoon following a refund;
C. The product is used outside the market where it is purchased; or
D. if Jmoon identifies that the Product is connected with any suspected fraud or if the Product is counterfeit, stolen or lost during shipment.
5. Warranty Exclusions
5.1 This limited warranty does not extend to any second or subsequent owner of the Product.
5.2 Products obtained from unauthorised sellers, including unauthorised Internet sites, are not eligible for coverage under this limited warranty.
5.3 This limited warranty does not cover damages resulting from:
A. normal wear and tear caused by your use of the Product, including but not limited to cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents or broken plastic;
B. accidents, misuse, abuse, exposure to dirt or water, tampering, unreasonable use, or neglect of reasonable and necessary maintenance; or
C. service operations carried out or attempted by unauthorised service agencies.
5.4 Only Products purchased through authorised channels in normal condition are covered by this limited warranty. No accompanying gifts or items given with the Product, or won through Jmoon giveaways are covered.
6. Use of Personal Information
We will need to use your personal information to provide the warranty service requested by you, including but not limited to your request details and your contact information such as your name, phone number, address, and e-mail address. Jmoon will process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable laws.
7. Disclaimers & Implied Warranties
• Implied Warranties: All implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to two (2) years from the date of the initial purchase. To the full extent permissible under applicable law, Jmoon will not be responsible for consequential damages resulting from the use of this product.
8. Limitation of Liability
Limitation of Liability: Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, Jmoon shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, resulting from any breach of express or implied warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory, even if Jmoon has been advised of the possibility of such damages, and regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal or equitable theory. Under no circumstances shall Jmoon’s liability under this limited warranty exceeds the actual amount paid by you for the defective Product.
9. Your Other Rights
This limited warranty provides you with extra and specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights according to the applicable laws of your jurisdiction of residence. Nothing in this limited warranty affects your statutory rights, including rights of consumers under laws and regulations governing the sale of consumer products that cannot be waived or limited by agreement.
10. Important Notes
10.1 Jmoon reserves the right to charge you a diagnosis fee, to the extent permitted by law, if it is found that the product is not defective due to the following:
A. No power because the power plug is not plugged in or switched on, or no power at power points;
B. Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage; or
C. Product is found to be tested within product specifications (i.e., defect not found).
10.2 Shipping costs for warranty claims may apply if it is found that the product is not defective.
10.3 This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
